Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Karmalendar iPhone app and the website at www.karmalendar.com. By downloading, installing, or using Karmalendar, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app

Karmalendar is a lifestyle app that lets you log small daily objectives, a mood, and Karma for yourself. It includes a companion character named Karmi, optional local reminders, and Home Screen widgets. The app is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Not medical advice

Karmalendar is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or sleep-clinic advice. Karma is self-reported. It is not a health score and is not connected to Apple Health. Do not use the app to diagnose, treat, or monitor any condition. If you need care, talk to a qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding contract in your country and comply with App Store rules. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and supervise use.

Your content and your device

Objectives, moods, and other entries you create stay on your device unless you copy them elsewhere yourself (for example an iCloud device backup you control). You are responsible for that information and for keeping your device secure. You may delete all in-app data in Settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app or site, including attempting to reverse engineer the app except where the law allows, disrupting the service, scraping the site in an abusive way, or using Karmalendar for anything unlawful.

Subscriptions and purchases

Access after the introductory period is offered through the App Store:

The free trial, when offered, is an introductory offer on the monthly subscription. The trial is the complete app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or as Apple otherwise provides.

Prices are set in App Store Connect and shown by Apple for your storefront. We do not issue refunds independently of Apple. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s refund rules.

Restore purchases is available in the app for Apple IDs that already bought access.

Intellectual property

Karmalendar, Karmi, the app icon, stickers, copy, and this website are owned by Karmalendar or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as needed to use the app under these Terms or as allowed by law.

The website

The website is provided for information and to host these legal pages. It may change without notice. App Store availability, features, and prices can change.

Disclaimer

The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karmalendar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app or site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app or site is limited to the amount you paid for Karmalendar through Apple in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow certain limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is forbidden, or for fraud.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you do not agree, stop using the app and uninstall it. We may stop offering the app. Subscriptions remain subject to Apple’s rules until you cancel.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Karmalendar, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. If a court finds a part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
